Microsoft has developed a freely downloadable version of its popular software Creative Suite that allows you to create and edit documents using a word processor like Word. You can freely download both the 1.0 and the latest versions of Creative Docs, and use, download and install both in your personal computer. But you cannot sell, lease or distribute either the software or the documents. Please see the license agreement displayed by the download manager for the complete details.

Creative Suite contains a number of rich text tools, such as WordArt which is a font-painting program, a drawing package called Advanced Graphics Power Tools, and a few utility tools. Creative Docs provides a set of office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with the capability to create, modify and share rich text documents. In order to view a document, it is opened directly in Microsoft Word. Word can also be used to create PDF documents; this feature is referred to as Document Viewer.

It is a part of Microsoft Office 2021, and is available in two flavors - Office 2021 Standard Edition and Professional Edition. Creative Docs provides a free alternative to Microsoft Office. The application is available for both Mac and PCs. The free version is equipped with many of the features of Microsoft Office products, but has several limitations, and requires an application download. The second, professional edition is an enhanced and more complete version of the free version, and includes several other advanced features.
